The Callas family began contracting in 1987 with its initial intention serving residential services. The Civil Works Co. is a family-owned civil contractor delivering civil works and infrastructures for Government, residential and commercial clients. The Civil Works Co.’s logo explains the roots of our humble island beginnings all the way through to life as city-slicking Sydney-siders. The three towers represent the three generations of family members which have been involved in the business. The two grey towers represent the two generations which were born in the city of Sydney and the green tower represents the North Aegean island of Lesbos, Greece – often referred to as the ‘green island’.
Our duty is to deliver civil infrastructures while understanding our roots by mitigating environmental harms. It’s in our blood and heart. Thus, we believe that civil works and environmental responsibility must work hand in hand to ensure the longevity of our industry
